  • Diabetes Class-Flyer– Do Well, Be Well with Diabetes Class – Begins on Friday, October 20, 10am-12pm, at the Extension Office. Do Well, Be Well with Diabetes is a five-week series that helps people with Type 2 diabetes learn how to manage their blood glucose through basic nutrition and self-care management. Last class is Friday, November 17 (one class per week). Class workbooks, recipes, and food samples will be provided. Cost is $20 for the entire series.   • Parenting Class-Flyer– Strengthening Families Parenting Class Series – Begins Monday, October 16, 6-8 p.m. at Caldwell Elementary Cafeteria. Remaining 5 classes held virtually. Meets every Monday for 6 weeks. This class is open to adults 18 years and up. The course will address issues and ways to improve your family and parenting skills including communication skills, problem solving, and much more. FREE ($10 for non-Burleson County residents).   • Canning Roadshow Burleson-Flyer-Preserving the Harvest Canning Class – Thursday, November 16, 10am-4pm, at Caldwell location TBD. Class includes water bath canning instruction and hands on canning of cranberry sauce, pie filling, and making of homemade pie crust that you get to take home. Cost is $35.
